Beritaterheboh.com - Komisioner Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU), Wahyu Setiawan, menyayangkan sikap Ketua MPR Zulkifli Hasan yang membawa #2019GantiPresiden ke perguruan tinggi. Ungkapan itu disampaikan Zulkifli dalam sambutan acara orientasi mahasiswa baru di Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ), Rabu, 29 Agustus 2018.

"Apalagi bila beliau berbicara sebagai ketua MPR, pasti resonansi politiknya akan tinggi." Wahyu menyampaikannya dalam pesan teks kepada Tempo, Kamis, 30 Agustus 2018.

Menurut Wahyu, elite politik seperti Zulkifli seharusnya tak menyampaikan ungkapan itu. Dia mengatakan para elite harus menjadi juru damai politik yang mengedukasi. "Tidak malah menciptakan pernyataan-pernyataan yang berpotensi mengobarkan konflik sosial."

Wahyu menyatakan KPU berharap para elite politik menahan diri menyatakan ungkapan bernada kampanye seperti yang disampaikan Zulkifli. Menurut dia, hal seperti ini dapat mempengaruhi kondisi politik. "Pernyataan elite (ini) akan mempengaruhi massa."

Anggota Dewan Syura Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB), Maman Imanul Haq, juga mengkritik Zulkifli. Menurut dia, tokoh publik yang juga menyandang jabatan struktural di pemerintahan seperti Zulkifli tidak sepatutnya berbicara demikian. "Itu bukan edukasi politik."

Selain sebagai Ketua MPR, Zulkifli Hasan adalah Ketua Umum Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) yang mendukung pasangan Prabowo Subianto - Sandiaga Uno di pemilihan presiden 2019. Zulkifli membantah pernyataannya di UMJ sebagai bentuk kampanye, melainkan hanya doa agar pasangan yang dia usung terpilih di Pemilu 2019.(tempo.co)
