"Ya seperti tadi kami katakan kita bersama aparat kemananan lainnya, tadi ada dari TNI juga, semata-mata untuk menjaga situasi Kamtibmas," kata Kabid Humas Polda Riau Kombes Sunarto saat dihubungi, Sabtu (25/8/2018).

Sunarto mengatakan, pihaknya semata-mata ingin menjaga situasi di Riau tetap kondusif. Pasalnya, menurut dia, banyak penolakan terhadap kegiatan #2019GantiPresiden yang sebelumnya akan digelar pada Minggu (26/8).

"Karena kita melihat ada pro-kontra yang beberapa hari lalu ternyata ada yang menyatakan pernyataannya ke kita, ada yang demo, demo menolak, kita kan jaga," ujar dia.

Menurut Sunarto, Polda Riau hanya bertugas untuk menjaga agar tak terjadi bentrokan antar masyarakat. Dia memastikan tak ada motif lain terkait imbauan agar #2019GantiPresiden tak digelar di Pekanbaru.

"Jangan sampai terjadi clash fisik apalagi sampai terjadi bentrok, jangan menimbulkan kamtibmas, itu yang kita jaga. Ya, nggak ada motif lain," imbuhnya.

Sunarto lantas bicara soal pemberitahuan kegiatan #2019GantiPresiden di Pekanbaru. Kata dia, polisi tak menolak izin tersebut namun pemberitahuan tersebut ditarik kembali sebab ketua panitia kegiatan mundur.

"Jadi begini panitia mengajukan izin pemberitahuan kegiatan ke Polresta Pekanbaru kemudian pada kelanjutannya ini yang bersangkutan, yang mengajukan izin ini mencabut kembali, mencabut kembali izinnya," ucapnya.

Sebelumnya, Fadli Zon mengkritik Polda Riau terkait adanya penghadangan terhadap Neno Warisman oleh sekolompok orang di Bandara Sultan Syarif Kasim II, Pekanbaru, Riau. Fadli bahkan menyarankan agar Kapolda Riau Kapolda Riau Brigjen Eko Widodo Prihastopo dicopot.

"Sebaiknya Kapolda Riau dicopot, tdk becus mengurus keamanan bandara n keamanan warga negara (Mb Neno dkk). Membiarkan persekusi," kata Fadli lewat akun twitternya.

Fadli mengunggah video pernyataannya terkait adanya penghadangan terhadap Neno Warisman di Bandara SSK II, Pekanbaru. Dia mengaku ditelepon Neno yang mengeluhkan persoalan tersebut.

"Saya baru saja mendapat telepon dari Mbak Neno Warisman dan kawan-kawan. Mereka bermaksud untuk mendeklarasikan #2019GantiPresiden di Riau. Setelah mendarat di bandara di Riau, kemudian tiba-tiba ada yang menghadang," kata Fadli lewat akun Twitter-nya @fadlizon, Sabtu (25/8).(detik.com)
